If you go online these days and put in a destination point, any city, anywhere in the world you are bound to find consumer travel articles. Interestingly enough, many people get online before they decide to go to a certain city to visit and learn all they can, and they read these articles too. In fact, they are some of the most popular articles on the Internet. Likewise, if you go to a bookstore there usually a couple isles of travel books; it is also one of the best-selling categories right up there with self-help books, and cookbooks in the non-fiction section.
But let’s say you are an online writer and you are writing consumer travel articles, what should you put in them? This is a good question and over the years I’ve written a good number of travel articles. In fact, I do not know of another person who has done this, but I have been to every single city in the United States of America that has over 10,000 in population, it took me seven years. So I know a good bit about travel, and I also know the questions I ask and wish to have answered before I go to a city.
Over the years, I have written so many articles on travel, that I’ve gotten a lot of feedback from my readers, they often thank of me for the information I gave them. They especially like restaurant tips, where to get good deals, where to save money, and little tips like that that make their traveling simpler.
This is what the consumer wants when they read travel articles and as long as you give that to your reader your articles will be of value for online content, or even to a travel magazine editor, some of which pay up to $.25 per word and they’ll even buy the digital pictures that you taken, if their of decent quality. I hope you will please consider all this.
